How do i segment a cube ?

Hi,
i’ve checked various google research and Blender manual, but can’t find how to segment a cube in equal pieces.
How is this done ?

For that, after creation, you must enter Edit mode and hovering the cube in the viewport, hit Ctrl+R for Loop Cut.
