VFX Shot for Airlines TVC (Student Work)

Hi folks, I am studying photorealism with blender and this is one of those trials. This is a class project I am trying to complete for my graduation. C&C are most welcome. I want to develop it more. Thanks.
Project Detail:
Airlines TVC
Render info: Cycle, 1080p, 16 seconds, 50 samples, Branched Pathtracer.
I am loving the Branched Pathtracer a lot, Really makes the render faster than Internal.

  1. Engines are way to big. Scale down to 2/3 of their current size.
  2. Plane is too glossy and clean. Add some dirt/grunge textures.
  3. Sky background is too flat
  4. Add some lens flare effects or simulate dirt on lens

Good luck!

P.S. I made this account just to reply to this post.

Always good to work with decent reference material and model at real-world dimensions.
Helps keep everything organized if you make it a habit.
Makes re-using assets so much easier too.
The engines are way too big

You do realise this was posted 2 years ago, right?
I really doubt that it is getting worked on any longer, especially for a class project for graduation such a long time ago.

But anyway, everyone else has mentioned most of the issues already. However, I do notice that there is a lack of navigation lights - there should be a red and green one on each wing tip, just in front of the winglets (part that angles up at the tip), a red light on the top and bottom, and a couple extras in other places.
