AMD used Blenders 3D capabilities to show off their new processors, comparing them to intel.

If AMD can bump the clock up a bit, then they will finally have something capable of competing with or even beating Intel (and bring back the CPU race).
Like others, I hope they succeed (if not only for the fact that it might force Intel to find ways to bump the performance of future chips by greater increments).
They plan to mass produce these chips at 7nm fabrication. So that should allow them to bump up the clock speed.
