Made with Blender Cycles and rendered with 200 samples. Afterwards I did quite some post processing in the Compositor and Gimp.

Another render of a planet. I made this in Blender cycles and rendered it with 300 samples. It took me about 6 hours to complete.

Nice work!
The last image is so calming and beautiful.
The colors and the lighting are perfect!

I had a similar idea some time ago, but I never finished the project.
