Hiring Blender Artist Experienced with UE4 to export a few animations for us.

We’re exporting to Unreal Engine 4 but whenever we import the root becomes Rig. The root is supposed to be HandsRoot. We need someone with experience in UE4 to be able to help show us the proper settings needed to correctly export our animations into Unreal Engine 4.

Hi guys.
When you export from blender to UE4 the actual Root will be the name of the Armature…
And the first bone (the real ROOT) will be it’s child.
The way to avoid that is treat the armature as the Root (so rename it HandsRoot), and work from there.

The real root anyway will be always the Armature container, no escape i guess.
