Alembic attributes?

Can we import alembic attributes into cycles? I’d like to use Houdini’s FLIP attributes that are used for displacement detail.

Is this possible?

Cool. I’ll have to muck around to figure out where to put the data fields to get them to work properly. It’s nice to know that this is supported.

Sorry I didn’t look deeper or try it out. Totally swamped right now leaving little time for research. It’s very much appreciated.

So no normals support whatsoever, right?

Would be a great feature to have for moving geometry / animation between applications. :slight_smile:
