I’ve been busy at my real job so I haven’t posted anything new in quite a while. These are some bladed weapons that I’ve been working on and off for the last few weeks. I’m really fascinated by these things and I love creating them. I actually own the pudao at the very bottom… at 53 inches long, it’s a beast.
Most of the textures, including the background came from YAFU, and Alfonso Serra I believe, which I got from a thread in this forum: https://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?403342-Cycles-Disney-Brdf&p=3103716&viewfull=1#post3103716. I HIGHLY recommend installing that library, since it will keep you from having to create your own materials. It has saved me LOADS of time, so I thank YAFU, Alfonso, and the other members here for creating that.
