How to align a line of vertices to a parallel surface?

I hope it’s clear enough, but let me know if it is not.

Thanks guys

Snap the cursor to one of the vertices of the surface
Make cursor the pivot
Select edge loop
S+X/Y/Z+0

Thank you, helluvamesh
It does help.
I was hoping I could “snap” those vertices right on the other surface/face.
Your suggestion still helps, as I would still need to align them anyway.

JDL

You can snap the selected verts onto the other surface using the snapping tools (magnet) but it might be easier to use the shrinkwrap modifier.

  1. Select the verts and create a vertex group
  2. Add a shrinkwrap modifier, and, with it, select the vertex group from the dropdown, and then choose the other object within the modifier, as the ‘target’

I was coming to that conclusion too.
