Full body + blend-shapes

I have full rigged body and a detached head with loaded of blendshapes (morph target ) .

now, how to attach this head with full body without affecting blendshapes??.
any solution???

what is the proper workflow in Blender?

Simple answer to join two meshes is select first - then SHIFT+select the one you want this joined to then key CTRL+J.

However, I suspect you have tried this and it screws up your meshes? I will need to see the blend file to advise further, if you have unapplied rotations, scales, etc, then it won’t work properly. So post the blend file to pasteall.org/blend then post the URL for the file here and we can look at it.

Why did you have the separate to start with - the head is always connected to the body (unless you are French aristocracy) and rigging on the neck will be affected by both head and body bones. Do you have the same number of vortices around the join line on both head and body? if not you are going to have more problems. If you do and they are coincident, you can then remove doubles to get the join, other wise I need to see the file…
