Worm [animation]

I’m creating animation with apple and worm. I need fresh eye. Can you write what you see on movie?

Do you think that this style looks good?

movie:

In the top link you need to significantly decrease the frame rate. Spread apart the keyframes so that there is actually time in between them. That will go a long way to make it more natural and interesting.

Otherwise, good work!

Hey, this is very first version. Now more important than animation is story. I don’t know if people see what is going on scene.

What I see: an apple is first pretending to throw a ball at a worm to play catch or something. Then it throws it for real, worm catches it, goes into the ground and jumps out again but 10x bigger to eat the apple.

Thanks! Worm was hit by ball, he didn’t catch it. So I must improve something to make it more visible.

I don’t know, but I think, that action may be too fast. What you think about it?

It’s too fast in some places. Play it through, film yourself (can be with smartphone, nothing fancy), then go through it frame by frame, make sketches of the important key frames and notes on which frame they happen. You don’t have to stick to it exactly in the animation, but it’s a good timing reference and starting point, you’ll see which actions take longer and which are slower.

You have right. I will do it.
