iPhone screen obstacle

Hello all,

I have tried to assign my screen texture to this iPhone multiple times and it just will not cooperate. I am fairly new at this stuff so I may be missing something.

When I unwrap the screen, the image in the render look skewed and wavy along the edges. Additionally, the screen doesn’t reach the dimensions of the iPhone screen no matter how much scaling I do.

Here is the file packed with textures. Could someone point me in the right direction?

first, thank you for being one of the few to pack the textures into the blend file…

The reason this is happening is due to the subsurface modifier.

notice how the selected area gets deformed.

now notice this one.

what i did was simply adding another edge loop all the way up to the first aditional edge.

so in your case, this is what you need to do:

either that, or use the crease edge tool. however i cant be bothered explaining how that works so go with this method.
