Blender Not Using Cached Simulation Files

I have been baking a fluid simulation, and it recently finished.
There just one problem; I had to move some folders around to clear up space in
my C: drive and now Blender can’t seem to find the cached files, I have set blender directory
to the new cached files but I don’t think I did it correctly.

I changed the bake cache once the simulation had finished backing
and I changed the bake cache directory (as seen above under the fluid tab)

And all of the files are in the designated cache as well, so I’m kinda stumped at this point!

I would appreciate the help, if anyone has any!

Ensure you are using the correct folder.

In the fluid settings you have selected the folder “…\Glass of Water\New Folder\New Folder”
The cached files look to be in folder “…\Glass of Water\New Folder”

Oh… it worked… I’ve been absolutely worried I’d have to re-bake it…

Thank you so much Richard!

Having a little trouble finding tutorials for the basics of physics cache, what settings to use, cache to disk where does the file go, how do I reload it, my goal if possible is to simulate the cloth (let’s say cape) or water spill by itself, cache several versions, then later finish animating a character using choice of cached cloth/waterspill animations without having to redo cloth/water physics (always positioning character to make it look like cape was always attached or water spill not intersect) ?? Is possible? Good writeups or tutorials on this?
