FBX export, how to use origin as position

not sure how to describe this properly, im basically looking for a smarter way of exporting my FBX objects, issue is, im creating a lot of game assets in blender, all placed in long rows blender for the most optimal overview while creating them, but when it comes to exporting the assets, i want each object to be centeret at (0,0,0), normally i would set it’s position to (0,0,0), export and then undo, but i find this process to be nothing more than stupid (i mean it’s a computer for crying out loud, it’s ment to do tedious work for me :D).

  • so i wonder if i would be possible to automatically change the position to (0,0,0) while exporting my FBX objects ?. (the origin and local position for selected objects should stay the same)
  • perhaps someone made a cool plugin for this ?
  • any good workflow advices on this ?

(and ps. layers is not an option, i need the ability to see all my game assets side by side while working)

i may have solved it with a plugin called “capsule”… pretty awesome tool for batch exporting assets :).
