How i can set a custom origin for a vertex group?

I want to rotate a vertex group and i want it to be rotated at a specfic origin and so i’m asking to learn if i can set my custom origin for a vertex group.

What do you actually want to do ?

To just rotate a selection of vertices around an arbitrary point, position the 3d cursor at that point and set the pivot point to the 3d cursor (shortcut .)

To have a saved pivot point one option is to add a bone at the position of rotation. Name to bone to be the same as the vertex group. Add an armature modifier to the object ensuring you have selected the bone armature and enabled Vertex Groups. Then rotate the bone in pose mode

You could also look at adding hooks (hook modifier) to selected vertices
