Noob Help- Materials layering incorrectly?


When in texture mode of viewport it looks okay as you can see on the left. When I press the ‘p’ key to play the game it changes for some reason and appears really weird looking as you can see in the left picture.

I’m still trying really hard to figure out blender game engine, and while I don’t get this issue with the materials seemingly rearranging the draw order or something? I try to explain the best I can. Can someone more familiar please help me understand? : (

Try use alpha sort, otherwise consider another alpha type in the materials settings.

I notice I wasn’t using a whole lot of transparency on many of the parts this model. But by default all of the materials DID have Z-transparency enabled even when unused! So that must have been why BGE was treating it as transparent. I turned that off and selected alpha sort for the materials using transparency and voila! It is fixed!! ThankyouThankyouThankyouuuuu!!
