You’ve got a pretty solid composition there mate. Well done.
It’d be nice to see some more detail in the ship model (doors, greebles etc. stuff you can easily texture) and some variance in the window lights (i think thats what they are). If you look at some reference, you can see that not every light shining through the windows has the same emission value. Some are dimmer than others and the locations are more random.
If you added some more geo where you’ve got the lights in the form of small structures it would also help to sell the effect.
There are quite a few things you could look at to get this image to be even more awesome, but start with those for now. I look forward to seeing more man. Keep up the great work!
i am doing a sci fi city as well.
Your onedoes look good, the lighting and composition of your scene is good.
however…, i feel that the scene has a bit too much blue, maybe you could change the hilights to a more white.
Also things that would make your scene stand out: you could add a DOF and motion blur, just slight amounts and have more emphasis on the crystal , plant things
