New to Blender, need help

I’ve downloaded a free version of Blender, which is where I have a 3d rendering of a city skyline. I’ve imported a 3d rendering of a building from Sketchup into Blender. I don’t know how to manipulate the sketchup rendering to put it inplace on my blender skyline. Can someone help me.
Thanks

Jerry

If I understand what you’re asking correctly, try this:

1). Open up the n-panel if you haven’t already (press n). Scroll down until you see “background images”.
2). Click “open” and browse to your sketchup rendering.
3). Change the “axis” setting to “camera” and click the “fit” button.
4). Properties panel, camera settings (the icon that looks like a little camera), dimensions, change the x and y settings to match the dimensions of your image.
