PLEASE help with this query on uv mapping for BLENDER

Hi everyone, there are loads of tutorials about how to unwrap on blender and i’ve got a good handle on it. Secondly there are great tutorials on how to texturise separate objects with separate uv mappping and i know how to do this. However it is the final presentation part, where all the various objects unwrapped are collated side by side and retaining their separate textures next to each other that isn’t mentioned anywhere and i can’t get it to work. Please can someone help me and tell me how?
Simple example, i’ve gone from object to edit mode and marked seams on all the objects, and opened new textures for each unwrapped object as follows:

After this i want to make a group island unwrapping of all of these for potential customers. SO i select all in object mode and press cntrl J to group all objects together, then in edit mode they all appear however no individual map textures are present on the uv side and the single background for only one object is present like this…

Basically i want to get something like this where textures are set for set maps with a white background unaffecting the set textured maps:

PLEASE HELP !

From the look of the 2nd image you uploaded, you have either created the seams in the wrong spots or you didn’t create enough to unwrap the properly. When you unwrap an object, you have to think of it like you are eating a banana. You have to unwrap it completely in order to eat the fruit. In other words, you have to create the seam right down the middle of a mesh for the circles. For the cube, you have to create seams at certain spots.

Also, you have posted this question in the wrong section. Since this is a texturing problem, you would need to post it in the Texturing thread.

Yeah i did this in 3 seconds , i know the seams are not correctly put this isn’t the point however, how do i get different textures set for different uv maps on the same plain like the 3rd pic?

Actually, that’s part of the point. An improper unwrapping can create undesired results. You have take your time so you can get the proper result. As far as the third image, it was of course created in a different program. You may just need to create a screen shot to get something similar to the third image.

If your UVs are correct in the original objects (before joining them), don’t join them. Bake the texture into a new image, for all the objects. Just uncheck the ‘clear’ in the bake panel, so that each bake doesn’t delete the previous.
If they are joined, they should have different materials assigned, and baking should be straigth forward.
