hello out there
accindently I opened a blend1 file with internet explorer, and now all blend1 files automatically have the
internet explorer icon instead of the default white paper icon
How can I reset that back to default??

You can customize this via prefered/standard software settings. Althoug I don’t know the exact location for that in Windows. But I guess you’ll geht there via right click -> open with… and then select a Text editor.

I ve tried with text editor but than a notepad icon came up… I d like to have t^he default white page icon

Last time I used Windows there where also filetypes settings. Maybe you want to try a Google search regarding this.
OK…worked… In settings - choose default apps - reset to Microsoft recommended defaults
