Noobie here, so, i was recently rendering something and for some reason which i can’t figure out why, after i render it a lot of white dots appeared(kinda where the light is). Does anyone knows what may be causing this?
That’s called noise, in order to get rid of it you have to crank up the amount of render samples in the sampling tab, the best bet would be 2000 render samples.
That is not noise. They called fireflys the best way is using clamp.
Set both clamp settings to 6 and they are gone.

It’s true that they’re called fireflies but he’ll need to toy around with clamp settings to eliminate them. Increasing samples will work much better in conjuction with clamping as you mentioned and give him a less nosier result with almost no fireflies.
