Sci-fi Custom Gun high poly (WIP)

After my failed attempt on several guns I’ve modeled in the past I decided to start again and take a different approach. This time I went for a sci-fi gun which I looked at many concept art first. After that process I went ahead and decided to design my own sci-fi gun based on the many concept art pieces i’ve seen of other sci-fi guns. So now I’m looking for feedback in hopes of improving as I want to start building a portfolio. My goal is to go into the environment artist route for games. Not sure if this is a good place to start but anyways let me know your thoughts, what I can improve on. Perhaps something looks weird or off. Maybe not enough “WOW!” detail to be impressive. This will be converted to a low poly after which I’m going to take a different approach to apply all modifiers and remove edge loops later. Anyways here is the gun so far, plan to have the low poly done and shown off later if all goes well. Also will paint the low poly in substance painter 2.
