(IRL analogy) A woman as modifier/constraint to a man

Hi!

Let’s say a man (his appearance and behavior) is a mesh. And a woman is a modifier (or constraint, depending on context).
Then a woman can be applied to a man and we will get appropriate changes in the man. For example:

  • woman can bend the man like Blender’s lattice modifier or curve modifier;
  • she can make him (his behavior and appearance) more smooth like the Subdivision Surface modifier;
  • she can direct him like the Follow Path constraint;
  • and many others, you can find them yourself :slight_smile:
    The interesting thing is that the man may think that these new changes are his own. However, it is not necessarily true, because if the modifier is temporarily disabled (the “eye” button in Blender’s UI), man’s appearance and behavior return to their “original” state.

This is just a random funny idea came to my mind on the way to my work in a transport.
Did you notice similar funny sort of things IRL?

  • “a woman can be applied to a man and we will get appropriate changes in the man.” Definitely.
  • “woman can bend the man.” No doubt.
  • “she can make him (his behavior and appearance) more smooth.” Only sometimes. (Plenty of country songs have been written about that.)
  • “she can direct him.” Yes, Dear.™

But, women are not “modifiers.” Women are the ones who save men from themselves. :smiley:

(Full disclosure: “happily married thirty years and counting.”)
