Modular character rigging framework built on top of Fabric Engine.

Seems cool, though guess since it’s built on top of fabric engine it’s not that useful for Blender. It looked cool though, and man when blender has undergone the nodification of everything, rigging can become so sweet.

(or rather the process of rigging will probably remain, but setting up solvers, ik/fk solvers and constraints could be pretty sweet in a node system)

The auto-connect nodes feature is already in blender, press F in node editor to connect multiple nodes.
They had it as a release feature, stuff like this in blender often exists but it’s easy to miss. Maybe blender fund should have some $ to support a small team to make release videos?

Hotkey zoom in node editor is something that can be useful for blender, I know of no way of zooming out/in when dragging a socket noodle. I often just zoom out as far possible/needed to see the two nodes that should connect and then start draging the socket noodle.

the quick zoom in, and keep the starting zoom value, then zoom out to the starting value would be really handy, not only in a 2d node view, but maybe even in the 3d viewport.

rather than zoom in to do detailed actions, then arbitrary zoom out somewhat near the starting zoom view you had.

anyways, fabric engine seems decent, and they seem to keep on integrating neatly with 3dcc apps and game engines.

There could be something to study here for the further development of blender. especially the nodification-of-everything project.
