Hey,
Is there an edge split tool ? Not like when you use “Y” on an edge and it just duplicates it but let’s say you have 2 faces attached, you would use this to split them. I know selecting faces and splitting them does it, but it’s really not what I’m looking for.
In the Scripts menu under Mesh and it’s called “Unweld”

Yeah I already tried that. But whatever I do, Unweld just “explodes” the vertices.

There’s also some info in Scripts menu, Help, Scripts Help Browser.
Basically, it’ll only split selected verts. If it’s exploding everything use it in multiple passes.

I know how Unweld works. What I meant by exploding is that it unwelded all the faces. What I want is something that unwelds on an edge basis.
