Manipulator problem


I dont know whats happening here. whenever i select any edge or vertex, its manipulator doesnt seem in position. it always stay away from selected.

It’s probably your modifier stack. Disable the display of your modifiers (including armature) while in edit mode.

If that’s not it, please provide a .blend exhibiting your issue.

that was the real problem. but how do i solve it. i mean if i disable it then it will return to its basis form. and i wont be able to skin it properly.

Perhaps you could tell us a bit more about what you’re trying to accomplish by your skinning endeavors. For instance, why you seem to be scaling your geometry rather than editing the weights, or using corrective smoothing, etc.

well i have to do some poses on character (no animation) so just to match the mesh of posed character i just sculpt or tweak some areas rather than changing weights in every pose. its convenient that way.
