Did you model that spaceship yourself? Also, is the background a picture or are they 3d objects in the scene?
The spaceship was created with Shipyard from Blendswap:
I did add some microdisplacement with a hull texture. The goal of this project was to generate a good result into the ship very with simple geometry.
Everything in the background is in 3D.
