Different parts of the mesh have different lightings

Hi people! I’m new here so i have no idea if i’m posting this right but i hope i am.
I haven’t found anyone else who is in this situation yet.

What happens is, i’m modeling a person. I started with the body and everything was right. When i made the feet, it had a weird lighting but i thought it was because the body was casting a shadow or something.
Then i created the head and i realized that nope it wasn’t a shadow:



Someone told me to try with smooth lighting but


I also have the picture of how it looks with subdivission surface? Does it help to see it better?

Note that i’m really new to this. I barely know what to click to find different tools. So this may just be how the program works, i’m just confused as to why isn’t the same happening to the body in that case. Thanks :o

Go into edit mode, select all the polygons and recalculate the normals(shortcut is ctrl+n.)
