Mesh-Deform main bone problem

Hello Everybody

I have a problem with the main-bone of a rig in a mesh with the mesh-deform-modifier.
As you can see in the video, the mesh is driving crazy when I’m moving the main-bone.
This problem do I have since about 3 years… got no more ideas to solve it.

Of corse can I just parent it to a second rig - but then I have to switch many times in an Animation
between the two rigs. Thats why I hope to solve this problem and use only one rig.

Can anybody help?

Try putting a duplicate bone with a copy transforms to the cage armature bone . Weight the cage 100% to the “cage bone”. The duplicate copy transform bone 100% weighted to the object.

Nope, is not working. I’ve tried it in all different ways with the copy transform.

post your blend file and let me look at it.

Thank you

Try this on and see if it works. I had to use two armatures, but one of them you should not have to touch.

One thing is I had to make sure you centered and cleared transforms and applied them on both objects so you didn’t have any scale. Also the first armature has the objects bone parented. The second armature has them with weighted vertices.
You should be able to follow this I think.
