So … when’s the Blender movie going to be ready, which takes place in this magical world?
I imagine that I see a little boy’s (or, little girl’s) bicycle, briefly parked in the world of that child’s pure imagination. The hills are covered with this fanciful yellow grass, and the highly-faceted tree matches very nicely with the also highly-faceted mountains. Right away, I know that this world is imaginary.
There is also an apparent foreshortening of the scene: the mountains aren’t really that far away, and they might even be a backdrop. But, since I’ve accepted that this is a “colorful world of a child’s imagination,” all of these things actually add to the sense of non-threatening childhood fantasy.
The framing and the composition of the shot is nice and tight. The colors are primary, and pleasing.
You could make a world, and thus a movie, out of these ideas, and I’d like to encourage you to consider doing so.
Aaaah… such lovely description… thanks man… but i’m not yet that good at animating but i’ll surely consider doing that in the future… also this work was made only for render so its very optimised and the rest of the scene viewed from any other angle will be crap haha.
