Closing a new blender window closes also blender

Hi everyone.

The problem is that when I close a second blender window (user preferences, image editor, etc) it closes blender also, it is a minor issue but, it is a little bit annoying, I have lost hours of work, it only happens when I´m using my graphic tablet, I stopped using mouse because my hand hurts a lot after years using it with blender and with another softwares.

I´m using blender on windows 7 64 bits and my tablet is an Huhion h610, I´m using blender 2.78c but it happened also with previous versions of blender.

(Edit: Well, I´ve found a partial solution, with Shift+F5 You can go back to the 3D view, but I would like to do the renders on a new window)

Edit 2: It seems to be a problem with Huion drivers, a solution could be this one https://developer.blender.org/T45422#404843 but I wouldn´t recommend to delete wintab32.dll because that file has to do with the pen sensitivity, I was thinking on post this on there but I think They don´t have immediate plans to solve this issue… https://developer.blender.org/T49239

As a one last note, I realized that in Blender 2.73 it happened only when I used the pen of my tablet, with mouse everything was perfect, but now that I´ve upgraded to Blender 2.78c it is happening also with the mouse.

I´ve been working with blender since 5 or 6 years back using it with mouse, my hand hurts a lot because the use of the mouse, so I begin to use only my graphic tablet instead of the mouse, and yes I know how to do a render on an external window, I have worked in that way as I said the last 5 or 6 years, the problem is when I close the external window it closes also the main blender. It doesn´t happen when I worked with the mouse, but now as I work with the pen of my graphic tablet, when I close the external window it also closes blender. Is not a big issue but I used to work in that way like 5 or 6 years.

Hey thanks for your response! very informative, yes it could be the same problem, but as the driver of my tablet is a little bit tricky (at the begining my tablet doesn´t worked at all) and I really don´t know too much about software or coding I prefer to let it in peace, I use blender a lot but I do drawings a lot more so I prefer my tablet working as it is. (should I put this as solved?)
