These thighs would need to be ratcheted at the hip area so they can move outwards as well as front and back. There would be another ratcheted joint at the knees so that they can bend backwards and be kept straight. I am asking that the modeler be able to print these and ship these to me because my own 3D printer is not capable of printing small gear parts (I am certain that gears will be required to keep the ratchets strong). These thighs will need to be able to support at least 21 ounces.
