Game character composed of multiple meshes and uv maps?

Hello, i am new to the forums so please bear with me.

I have created a character for a game (built in UE4), and i have reached the stage where im ready to start rigging the character. However, the character is composed of many different meshes, each with their own UV maps and textures (arms, head, ect).

What do you guys think is the best way to handle this, or is there nothing i can do? Is there a way to combine the meshes, UV information, and textures into one?

any slight help whatsoever would be hugely appreciated.

All you got to do to combine the meshes is to select them and hit “ctrl J”. The uv informetion should port over automatically. For the textures, you can just bake what you want after that.

Edit: if you want though you can rig multiple meshes with one armature I think, I’m not an expert in rigging though.
