Hey all. I’m going to start saving money for a pen PC, and was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the best ones out there. Primarily interested in using it for hi-res sculpting.
Pretty torn between Surface Book and Mobile Studio right now.
Deciding Factors:
Screen size - do those extra 2" on the MobileStudio make a huge difference?
GPU - Don’t know my GPUs outside of GTX and avoiding AMD. Need some input here. Want the ability to do light gaming/rendering.
Compatibility - I’ve heard of some people having issues with Surface Pro’s pen… either pressure sensitivity or it stops working. Not sure how it handles with the Book. Personally I’ve had pretty nasty issues with Wacom products too though.
Shortcuts - Want something that can be completely hands off while using zBrush/Substance/Photoshop, etc. I think you can get the Surface Dial for the Book so it might have the advantage here.
