Did I modeled this correctly?

Hello. I chose a simple image that I thought I could model. I was hoping someone could look over the topology and inform me if this was done correctly or not.

I wasn’t sure if this was the right forum to create my topic or not so I apologize in advance.



Looks fine to me. You can get rid of some vertices that don’t contribute to the objects form, though it’s not really that important other than keeping the mesh tidy and reducing the poly count.


I would go with what GrimZA did, but also either bevel the sharp edges, or add loop cuts along them plus a subsurface modifier.
