Recording soft body physics in bge + bullet

Dear friends. Its my first post here, I always try to to find out solution from resources first. I have simple physics setup(bge + bullet), eg box falling and deforming under simulation. Recording is on and it records transformation, but cant get blender to record shape deformation as well. When previewing simulation mesh deforms. I feel i am missing something, but cant find what. I tried to add vertex group with all object vertices, hoping it will have place to store data but then it doesnt even deform in simulation. I have latest release 1.78. Thank you.

Any ideas?

Latest blender release is 2.78.
Use shapekeys to record shapes of a mesh. Under the game menu should be an option to record animation.
Otherwise I would use Blender softbody simulation as this is more flexible and you can easily shapekey this.
