Subj ^^ and why nothing is being done about it ?!
They are trying to do something, but the spambots are circumventing every prevention measure put in place and there’s a chance that it could be an issue with the Vbulletin software itself.
I wonder if this might finally drive CGcookie to move the forum to Discourse after announcing it a year ago and following it up with nothing (I mean if staying on the current software means a potential spam-apocalypse).

It’s being worked on, but it’s tough to suss out how exactly the bots are getting through. This has been going for four days now and it’s extremely frustrating for everyone. With any luck, we’ll get a working solution soon.
