is there any other way to modify animation curves?

Aside from graph editor, is there any other way to modify animation curves?

I think it would’ve been much more convenient if it was possible to show bezier handles - in 3d space - in the scene view when the animation is stopped at the keyframe. With ghost/onion skin enabled, it would allow quick modification of trajectory without jumping between views back and forth. Is there anything like it in blender?

The script appears to be dead and judging by this discussion, it doesn’t work on armatures.
