@Quandtum, that’s totally cool man! I could be wrong but I think that’s the first 3D printed WC entry ever. Paint job is better than I could have done.

Oh, YAFU you should have been in the Non-Competing category, you’ve messed it all up now. :wink:

At least Trumpers wall looks substantial, this EU wall looks a bit flimsy…

Oh, there’s more…

and there’s others…

3dbi, does the M on his hat stand for Mule? Why don’t they just use the door like normal legitimate people would?

I think it stands for Musk. (The Boring Company)

I am competing to satisfy your claims about pure non-competitive entries :slight_smile:
What I do not understand is why you participated with a non-competing pure entry and not a competing entry :confused:

No, seriously, I mix a little to vary from time to time between no competing, Non-competing entries and competing entries.

@All U Mean People
When did this become the roast 3dbi challenge? I thought it started out so well. :frowning:

@Helge
What have I created? I guess all the signs were there though https://blenderartists.org/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=478701

@rarebit and Helge
I think I’ll just say what I imagine my mentor would say here and tell you both that you are free to interpret the ‘M’ however you want, that’s the beauty of interpretation.

(Starting to smell a little more like a barbie now)

@rarebit
As I’m sure you know, it can be extremely difficult to get a work visa much less become a permanent resident, and for a poor person it can often be completely impossible. Most of these people are only trying to improve the quality of life for themselves and their families.

You don’t address a problem like this by building more walls, you do more to try and help fix the problems that forced them to have to leave their country in the first place.

“A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian. This is not the gospel,” Pope Francis

“To not respond to evil with evil. To defeat evil with good, the offense with forgiveness. A Christian would never say ‘you will pay for that.’ Never." Pope Francis

Statistically speaking they have to get it right sometimes rarebit.

Did it? I don’t think so - but checking the dictionary … sauté might not be completely misused in this case. :slight_smile:

Dr. Frankenstein, I presume?

And ‘M’ leaves a lot of room for interpretations. E.g. M(1931), although I don’t see the Mario connection at the moment. Or the Mario vs Wario thing. Turning the M around worked for Nintendo. This would make the W from Wall turn into an M. “M” => He, who walks below the wall. I should probably stop this nonsense. :wink:

Wait, one last try. You were born in Australia. Seeing a WALL from down under would make it a ⅂⅂∀M. Spooky!

Good night, and may the force be with you.

@Helge, I can’t get the image of Elon in fancy dress as Mario now, toasting with tequila and smiling!

@3dbi, the Pope, so funny… The Bible preaches that people like me (heathen) should be put to death on sight! Religion is evil! I hear bitter, vengeful and hypocritically preachy Christians all the time, even Trumper is a Christian!

All the walls mentioned here are also to keep the evil out by protecting what’s within from becoming what the others are running away from. For instance,all these Muslim dictatorships (most Muslim countries appear to be racist dictatorships to me), they oppress to the point that their minions run away to safe haven, then do their best to convert those places to what it was they were running away from, go figure that its all done in the name of equality.

Just because someone appears or claims to hold the moral high ground doesn’t mean they really do. For instance we see this in Christianity with the way Catholics treat gay people, abused wives, never mind letting people off with simple confession. Religion is mind control and a form of government, so I say, do it for the right reason, not to please an imaginary God that someone forces you to believe in.

I’ve never got why there is so much hate between Jews, Christians and Muslims, they all believe in the same God. The majority of non monotheists seem to get on a lot better and are definitely more tolerant of others!

Some even believe forcing religion on children is child abuse! Were you brainwashed so much as a child that you could go a week without thanking God autonomously?

Blep. These are some pretty strong opinions.

Maybe the M stands for “Miyamoto”? Or it stands for “Tunnel” if you replaced the ‘T’ with an ‘M’.

Maybe he really likes the letter M. As far as we know, his suitcase could be full of the letter M. His obsession could be tearing apart his family… what am I even saying?..

You could turn the M on its side, then twist half of it and get a S for Snide or Straight Talker, or without the twist you could put a bar down the side and get a B and go for Biased… and obviously if you’re calling someone biased you should probably throw in Hypocrite, what do you say?

@DoriNori, wish I could see your post pre-edit, I have no email for this acc any more, so got no record of it :frowning:

Oh Lord, pardon my French.

Well this is usually around about the time I decide to be reborn if I’m honest.

I wasn’t going to reply to rarebit’s previous religious enquiry as I don’t believe religion is allowed to be discussed on this forum. Am I incorrect in that assumption? I can’t really be bothered to check the rules :wink:

I know I kind of raised the subject and indeed I also did it with my Top Gun image entry, so I guess given the way the comments have now progressed I think I will share my views on religion and leave it to a forum mod to pass judgment on me.

I think most parents brainwash their kids, for example Santa Claws, Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny. Obviously religion is used to both comfort and control people but I wouldn’t personally go as far as to call it child abuse.

I was raised a Christian although I never liked going to church, and when I was sent to the confessional I would always make up a story to tell the priest, I wasn’t going to tell him the truth, he would have damned me to hell!. I remember once I told him that I had stolen someone’s rubber in class, which was a complete lie.

Also my uncle who lives in New Zealand is a retired priest, and I have pissed him off more then a few times with my opinions on the subject. As a kid my whole family would go to church once a week, but now only my father still attends. Although I suspect he maybe just going so he can get away from my mother for a while.

Would the world be a better place without religion? Personally I would have to say, yes it would be.

Most of us look at new religions like Scientology as just bonkers, and created by a completely bonkers and off their trolley, manipulative individual. However given enough time I think Scientology could become just as acceptable and valid as any other mainstream religion we have today.

Personally I consider myself an agnostic.

I believe all life is precious (starting to feel a little like Gollum here) even more so if there isn’t anything after this live. We are all made from the same stardust so I believe we are all connected. I don’t need any religion to help reinforce those beliefs or comfort me. However, I can see how people in their hour of need can find themselves turning to religion for comfort and solace. Like many I have lost people and animals that I have loved with all my heart, and would have taken their place in a heart beat if I could have. So for me to truly believe that there isn’t something after this life, is to admit I will never get to see them again, which really isn’t something I can honestly ever really do.

When I consider myself, I do wonder what exactly I would want to have actually survive after my death:

My amazing 3d Blender skills.
My dashing good looks and charming personality.
My almost animal like magnetism.

all come to mind, but honestly as corny as it sounds all I can really think of is my love for my animals, friends and my old and new FAMILY :slight_smile:

Go in pieces my child.

I think 3dbi’s entry fits the topic very well: Trump, the old turtle, sees Mario as just another illegal alien trying to cross the border. It works on many levels, Mario is a typical Latin name, turtle is also a verb that means to close yourself in, which is what happens when you build a wall. M is also W upside down, which can be seen as the antithesis of the wall.

If I could fcharr I would kiss you right now!

@Everyone Else
That’s how you win voters.

I always found the word Catholic an interesting word.

Cat in ancient Latin means chain or imprisoned.
Holic means to have an abnormal desire for something.

The Romans couldn’t kill the idea even though they killed the supposed son of God, so they did a corporate buyout and re-branded it. Then used as a fear stick until the Lutheran’s had enough of people being exploited.
