blender 2.8 crashes at launch. Ubuntu Studio Linux

I decided to try blender 2.80 because im having an issue with pentable lag only in blender (another issue i will deal wtih after i fix this one) . Anyway, it’s not going to well. I cant get it running. Blender 2.80 crashes on startup.
I tried "./blender --factory-startup " to skip all configs and still crashes.

:confused: hmmm… Not entirely sure why it wont run 2.8, Dependency issue? Still reading old configs despite being told not to?

You seem to be using a version where there were some issues with releases builds. Please download new builds and try again:
https://builder.blender.org/download/

Edit:
I do not think 2.8 is useful for do that testing with your graphics tablet. What brand and model is your graphic tablet?

yes, mines crashes too immediately on startup on Windows 10: blender-2.80-cf7447d-win64-vc14.zip
