    The modular future has been bagsied (patented so you can only have it if you pay Apple), not that they will pay others for their patents!

    @rarebit
    So you patent designs by others and you will be considered a master of innovation:

    @all.
    Regarding "Modular", I'm not sure if it was clear in any language:

    Any meaning is accepted. Or as always, even if you want you can stay away from the topic and surprise with some new ingenious interpretation

    Apple wins because of the trendy creeps who like to show off and pay extra for new clothes!
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Emperor's_New_Clothes

    It was the bounce patent which really put me off Apple, like they invented the concept. Animators (Tex Avery, John Lasseter, etc) taught me decades ago about how to add overshoot to your animations, then along comes Apple and says "that's all mine mine mine". I see a need for patents when its concerning something radically different or true innovation, but to patent a rectangle, or shape of chocolate bar which others have used for centuries, well... On this topic I'm very Left and not Right, its like the Spanish Inquisition, only hinders progress and innovation.

    I won't be making an entry this week because of school and other reasons. Sounds like a fun theme though, I hope everyone has fun!

    @rarebit, your entry looks very dark (literally, although the darkness could also be contextually ). But regarding how dark it looks in my monitor, I had to download the image and process it to see what it was. Was it your intention that this be so? Maybe just a problem on my monitor?
