It doesn’t look like the weather here is going to be as good as it was yesterday. Hopefully it won’t rain, because I did a lot of painting that still hasn’t really dried properly yet.

Never heard of it, actually. But it is better to be known for music than for the recent events. There don’t seem to be any limits to human stupidity…
Not sure what this is about… but on the topic of weather: rain can be a good thing. The lack of it is one of the main causes for why it is so hard to grow strawberries in outer space.

As to the rest, that’s just me and rarebit messing around, no need for anyone to really panic.
As usual it was “extremists”, no mention of “Muslim extremists”, hence why I won’t pay the BBC TV License. But just listening to the radio and as usual the BBC airs interviews with Muslims who sort of defend these actions by blaming everybody but themselves, he did point out that this scum was a good Muslim right up until the point of callously and intentionally murdering lots of little princesses!
I hate to bring this up and it’s not terribly important since these challenges are just for fun, but the poll actually shows that HELIX and I tied. I assume that is some sort of timing issue with when the poll closed, it was just disappointing to think I finally won one and scroll down to discover I didn’t.
I already had the private message prepared for you over lunch and it was still looking that way when I checked back in the evening (my local time). However, by the time I ‘officially’ closed this one (about 23 GMT) HELIX had gotten a bunch of new votes. Technically the poll is STILL open - but whoever has the most votes on Monday evening at 23 GMT wins. There is a snapshot of the state of the voting by that time in the “The winner is”-post.
