Interactive annotations to blender model

Hi everybody,

I found this model some time ago https://skfb.ly/WFuX I think it is just a great work and I also see something that I would like to learn how to do. I mean those numbered interactive menus
http://prntscr.com/fb19vp (I pointed red arrows on them)

if clicked they expand into annotations

and it is just awesome.

I am a teacher and I would like to use it in my models that I build in Blender for my students. I looked into description, it says that this model is made in Maya. I have no idea about Maya and I use only Blender.

Can somebody tell me if this is possible to do with Blender models? Maybe you can advise a manual, article or tutorial with description?

thanks in advance!

If you need that in real time, maybe you can do something similar with Blender Game Engine.

The model you linked to is hosted by Sketchfab.
It is not Maya that is providing the annotation function, this is something that is done in Sketchfab.

So yes, this system can work with a model provided by most 3D programs.

You have to sign up with Sketchfab and upload your models. I think with a free account you can have 5 annotations per model. If you want more you have to upgrade to a pro (paid) account.

Maybe that suits you.
