Windows 7 explorer.exe Crashes After Rendering Animation Every Time

I had this frustrating bug for months now , but now it’s getting really annoying, it seems like explorer.exe processes crashes everytime blender finishes rendering animations frames, like every time, at first the processes usage of “explorer.exe” gets up from 0% to 13% then whenever I click anywhere on the screen it says exporere.exe stopped working.
Did anyone face the same problem before?

no system specs? really?

Oh sorry ,
CPU i7-4790,
GPU asus gtx 970 strix oc 4gb
RAM 8GB
windows 7 professional 64 bit

could be a virus, or a failing hdd/ssd. not likely heat or the gpu. any over clocks?

if reinstalling your os doesnt fix it, then its probably hardware related.

dont forget to back up your data.

Nope, on win7 pro 64 here, no crashes.
Check what the crash files say, C: Windows/ minidump

Minidump is only created after BSOD. Check in cleanboot and check memory I would say.

No errors here on Win 7 either. Then again, I’ve got a little more depth in hardware resources and I’m not doing anything extra-heavy.

I would suggest monitoring system resources during rendering. Depending on what’s being done (simple or complex scene? resolution? CPU or GPU rendering?) it could simply be overtaxing system resources. 8 GB RAM can be a little light for high-end rendering tasks.

A little more information may help e.g. Blender version, BI or Cycles, whether this happens during a simple test render, only on single frame or animation sequence, etc.
