Reply count, while new user replies are being moderated.

I noticed that the forum thread shows replies, and unread messages in the forum summary, but those replies aren’t actually visible in the thread if it’s a new user waiting for moderation.

It’s not a real big deal, but I’m curious if it could be set so that the summary only shows the count of messages that are actually visible. I remember back to my first posts, and at oddball hours, moderation could take a long time.

It’s probably not an option, but maybe you’ve got someone on the team who’s in a position to push the idea upstream.

EDIT: Also, if you do have someone in a place to push ideas upstream. It would be really nice to be able to up vote, or like thread replies.

That person would probably be me.

Having accurate summary information would certainly be a good thing, but I’m afraid that’s probably a limitation of vBulletin and not something that we can easily get around.

As for the up-vote and liking feature… that will certainly be available once we move to Discourse (yes, that’s still happening), but not before then.
