Reaction Diffusion - procedural generation of natural textures (zebra stripes etc)

A nice article on a procedural method Reaction diffusion which generates natural(animal skin) textures by Neil Blevins.http://www.neilblevins.com/cg_education/reaction_diffusion_in_pshop/reaction_diffusion_in_pshop.htm

This is pretty cool! Thank you!

There’s probably a better way to do this. The values are def trash and the “node group” is mostly made that way because i wasn’t able to sort out iterations in Cycles.

I’ve been working on a cat shader for a while and this will come in handy.

@Remade
Thanks for the link I’m sure I’ll find a use for it at some point, but for now I’m gravitating more towards hand painted textures rather then procedural ones. :smiley:
