Render Smoke Details?

Sorry if this post is in the wrong forum, wasn’t sure where to put it. I am rendering a smoke simulation and I have cached the smoke animation with “Smoke High Resolution”. However when I render the smoke in cycles it looks a lot softer than the viewport preview and is missing detail that the viewport preview shows, perhaps someone could help me with that? it would be greatly appreciated :slight_smile:

Increase the volume scatter and absorption density ?
Give a more interesting lighting ?
