Enter cm instead of m

Hi guys,
is there a way to change the way Blender handles numeric inputs?

I use the metrics system and all of my inputs are in centimeters and every time I want to add 50 centimeters, I get 50 meters. Okay, I could type 50cm into the text field, or just 0,5 but it would be easier to type a single 50.

Is there a possibility to change this?

Set the unit scale in the Scene / Units panel to 0.01 and length to Metric
