Will those mining-cards also be more efficient at rendering in Cycles?

… whatever that means.
I think this is NVIDIA’s attempt at cashing in on the crypto-craze by providing cheaper GPUs without eating into their gaming profits. If the price is right, those cards might be interesting for Cycles as well - assuming that they’re fully-featured CUDA devices.
And more importantly be available for actual purchase.
My 390x os great for mining. But I have it underclocked so it doesn’t get too hot. Also noise sucks. 1070 is a alright card for mining.
