How to create lights using mixed material

Hi, I am not that technically astute so could someone please explain how I can add “lights” to this model. I have created a transparent .png of just the lights but when I try to create a mixed material in Cycles I just get the one material showing.

You didn’t pack the textures into the file, which makes commenting on the textures a bit difficult.

I don’t get the node setup. You can’t just connect an .exr file to a Diffuse shader and expect it to emit light. Use the texture as the Fac input for a Mix shader with Diffuse and Emission shaders connected to it.

I selected “pack textures” so I don’t know what I did wrong. I understand there is no node setup but there is a texture. I want to understand how to add a second "transparent texture (lights) over the base texture.
