You have been really inspired this week. Very good entries!

I vote for mining shuttle.

Why don’t you guys post the winners works on the fb page? As it stands, there’s no real reason to actually try to win aside from for the heck of it.

I think it’s good practice, and the winner is put in the feature row now

For me, fun and practice are pretty good reasons. :slight_smile:

And apart from that, there still is the incredible honor of selecting the theme for the next weekend.:yes:

ohh i wanted to see my stuff on the featured row :slight_smile: been wanting that for a year now. hehe. that was my motivation to enter the competition.

but sure, feature the winners anywhere possible imo. give them exposure.

Comment retracted… :spin:

did i say something wrong?

Calm down :slight_smile:
I think is about the concern of why the winning entry is not awarded in fb page, and retracted when know that in fact, entry is awarded with feature row now

No Barrage. It’s just that everyone seems to love how things are right now, so I took back what I said.
As a joke though, I don’t mean to imply any hurt feeling implications there :stuck_out_tongue: (There should be a laugh emote too…)

…edited rambling essay v2.76b :wink:

@robwesseling

As far as I’m concerned we are totally cool, I always digged your vibes. I’m sorry if I let you down, but hey I’m only human. Anyway I really hope to see you competing again in the WC soon!

@RobertT

Sorry again RobertT, I really didn’t realize how my messing around was effecting some of the other forum members here. I will be taking a very long break now and hopefully I’ll catch up with you all later.

@Bones
Todo mundo estava errado!

All the best.
Damien

wait what happened?

I don’t know what he is on about either, I don’t even know who he is???

You know I can’t actually recall it now! I think it might just have been a bad dream. I get some really very vivid ones you know.

No problem here :slight_smile:

As I said before, create, enjoy, stay friendly, and be well.

Best wishes,
RobertT

Who needs fb? - We have fr! :slight_smile: [Perfectly fine with me.] :slight_smile:

You are right. So far I didn’t notice that one doesn’t exist.

Back to serious business:

@fcharr
A micro displacement addiction seems to be hard to get away from. Maybe we should start a support group to deal with that matter.
(e.g. True Displacers Anonymous) :slight_smile:

@Gordi
If I understand it correctly, this is kind of dramatic. Poor guy…
On the other hand: I even had to look up the term “Honeydew List” - so I might be totally wrong. :wink:

@purbosky
Very nice. I think I know where the 2000 samples went. Hopefully, the new denoising will make life a lot easier.

@bit biter
Fighting entropy. The second law of thermodynamics at work. Cleaning up can never work if you look at the big picture…

@Anthony JK
Is that a tree, I’m seeing there? Something seems to have fueled a lot of crazy ideas this time.

@rarebit
Speaking of strange ideas. :wink:

@appie.123
Good job! We never have enough characters on the weekend challenges. I guess they are too time consuming… So it is always nice to see one.

@CyberBurst
More true displacement? I wonder how oil ended up inside that rock. :slight_smile:

@finalbarrage
Nice to see you back in the game. And this is a good one. I really like how you set everything up.

@BjarkeDuDe
Welcome on board! Nice first entry! I’m looking forward to whatever you come up with next time :wink:

@danchristie25
Nice entry and great theme choice. This has inspired a lot of great entries!

@RobertT
That is one detail packed entry! The big ships front almost looks like it has been painted by hand. This reminds me of the 80s/90s technology/space/science books for kids I had back then.

@Photox
We should have at least one cheese entry every week! But would that be healthy? If you want you can have one or two continents from my old salad planet as a side dish.https://blenderartists.org/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=444172&d=1468113115

Top row in 5…4…3…2…1…

Great entry finalbarrage, and excellent work by all.

Mining Shuttle

“Honey do” or “Honeydew”, the life of the man of the house will always be a chore. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah too busy lately really… I did finally get around to the Freestyle blueprint tutorial:

then I went onto this beauty (Baga 293) but spent an inordinate amount of time figuring out the dimensions, when in reality all I wanted from it was a heightmap of a quarry for a game…

Yet, I spent most of the time last weekend tinkering with valgrind chasing down leaks…

Congratulations finalbarrage!
